Aleph Alpha is a Heidelberg-based AI company focused on sovereign, enterprise-grade generative AI products and infrastructure.

In April 2026 Aleph Alpha announced a merger with Canadian foundation-model lab Cohere at a combined valuation of roughly $20B, with Cohere shareholders holding around 90% of the new entity. Once the deal closes, parent control of Aleph Alpha sits with the Toronto-based Cohere group. Until that change is reflected, listings on this site remain as-is; expect a future reclassification once the merger completes.
