Baserow

Baserow is an Amsterdam company (Baserow B.V.), founded in 2020 by Bram Wiepjes, building an open-source no-code database as an alternative to Airtable. It is backed by European investors (Inkef Capital, Seedcamp, Frontline Ventures) with no controlling US or non-European owner. The platform is open-source and self-hostable, and its managed cloud stores data in the EU, which underpins its data-residency and GDPR positioning.
