Element Creations Ltd (Companies House #10873661, formerly New Vector Ltd) is a London-headquartered open-source collaboration company, with engineering offices in Germany (Element Software GmbH) and France (Element SARL). Founded in 2017 by Matthew Hodgson and Amandine Le Pape, the company commercialises the Matrix open standard for federated real-time communication, which they originally invented at Amdocs and spun out into the independent Matrix.org Foundation. Element ships a hosted SaaS, on-premise deployment, and high-security variants used by government and defence buyers including the Bundeswehr, French Gendarmerie, and the German healthcare TI Messenger network.
