Mailjet
๐ช๐บ EuropeanFrench email API and SMTP relay, now part of the Swedish Sinch group.
Mailjet was founded in Paris in 2010 and sells an email API, SMTP relay and campaign editor aimed at sending both transactional and marketing mail from one account. Its differentiator in the French market has long been EU data residency and a collaborative template editor that marketing and engineering can share.
Ownership has moved twice and ends up European. Mailjet merged with the US company Mailgun under the Pathwire holding in 2019, and Pathwire was acquired in 2021 by Sinch AB (publ) of Stockholm โ the Nasdaq Stockholm-listed cloud communications group that also owns Inteliquent, SimpleTexting and ClickSend. Sinch has no controlling shareholder and its largest holders are Swedish; it files no US domestic-issuer reports.
So the chain runs Mailjet โ Pathwire โ Sinch AB, Sweden, with no US parent above it. Sinchโs own messaging product is listed separately on this site.
