Mentimeter

Mentimeter is a Stockholm-based interactive presentation platform founded in 2014 by Johnny Warström and Niklas Ingvar. Mentimeter AB (publ) remains majority-controlled by its founders, with Bure Equity (a Stockholm-listed PE firm) and GP Bullhound Fund VI as the largest external shareholders following secondaries in 2021 and 2024 — no US/CN parent.

The product blends slideware with live audience interaction: speakers build decks that include polls, word clouds, Q&A, quizzes, and rating scales, and audiences vote from any device in real time. It is widely used in classrooms, corporate town halls, and conferences as a European alternative to Google Slides and PowerPoint with built-in audience-response features.
