Softr is a Berlin-based no-code platform, operated by Softr Platforms GmbH, for building web apps, client portals, and internal tools on top of data sources such as Airtable, Google Sheets, and its own built-in database. Founded in 2020 by Mariam Hakobyan and Artur Mkrtchyan, it added an AI Co-Builder that generates a full application — database, pages, and workflows — from a single natural-language prompt.

The company is privately held and German-domiciled (HRB 202758 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg); the binding terms name Softr Platforms GmbH under German law. A 2022 Series A led by US investor FirstMark Capital was a minority growth round, with no US parent entity above the GmbH.
