Zendesk

Zendesk is a US customer-service software company founded in Copenhagen in 2007 and headquartered in San Francisco. Its suite covers ticketing, live and messaging channels, a help center, and AI-assisted agents for support teams.

Zendesk was taken private in 2022 by an investor group led by Hellman & Friedman and Permira. It is one of the most widely used helpdesk platforms and serves as a common incumbent that European teams look to replace.
