Details
Codeberg is a Git hosting platform run by Codeberg e.V., a non-profit association registered in Berlin. It runs Forgejo, the forge software the same organisation develops, and provides repositories, issues, pull requests, Codeberg CI and Codeberg Pages for static sites.
Hosting is free with no paid tiers, funded by membership fees and donations. The service accepts only projects under free and open source software, open hardware or free-culture licences. Private repositories are allowed for supporting material such as secrets, drafts and team-internal discussion, but not for proprietary code or personal file storage.
