Dust is a Paris-based AI workspace from Permutation Labs SAS, designed for organisations that want their teams and AI agents to share context across internal tools and data sources. The product combines a chat interface, configurable agents, and connectors to systems like Slack, Notion, Salesforce, GitHub, Google Drive, Confluence, and Zendesk, with role-based access controls and per-agent governance.
Founded in 2023 by Stanislas Polu (ex-OpenAI, ex-Stripe) and Gabriel Hubert, Dust raised a $40M Series B on 18 May 2026 led by Sequoia Capital and Abstract Ventures, with Snowflake Ventures and Datadog joining — bringing total funding past $60M. By May 2026 the platform was used by around 3,000 organisations and 41,000 monthly active users. The company remains a French SAS (SIREN 949205314) headquartered in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, with US-VC minority backing and no controlling parent outside the EU.
