Teams use it to connect SaaS tools, internal systems, and data flows using reusable process templates, full code access, and built-in API management, with data hosted in the EU. It is oriented toward IT and integration teams rather than ad-hoc citizen automation.

Frends is an integration and automation platform (iPaaS) developed by Frends Technology Oy in Espoo, Finland. The business was spun out of HiQ in 2024 to operate as a standalone company and is owned by Sweden’s HiQ International AB, in turn held by the pan-European investment firm Triton. Frends focuses on enterprise application integration, API management, and workflow automation with European data residency.
