Proton Calendar
Calendar Switzerland
Swiss encrypted calendar bundled with Proton Mail and Proton Drive. Alternative to Google Calendar.
Details
Proton Calendar is the calendar in Proton’s Swiss-hosted suite, sharing one account with Proton Mail and Proton Drive. Event titles, descriptions, locations and participant lists are end-to-end encrypted, so Proton cannot read them. It is free on a Proton account, with apps for iOS, Android, macOS and the web, and an appointment-scheduling feature for sharing bookable time.
A business tier adds shared team calendars and sits inside Proton’s wider compliance posture, which covers GDPR, ISO 27001 and HIPAA. The trade-off against Google Calendar is reach rather than capability: invitations to and from external calendars work, but the automatic cross-product awareness of a Workspace account — meeting links, contact suggestions, document attachments — does not carry over.
