Content teams model their own schemas, while developers pull content into websites, mobile apps, and connected devices independently of presentation. Leaving means re-modelling every content type, rewriting the delivery integration in each consuming front end, and rebuilding editorial roles and publishing workflows, so the migration cost scales with the number of applications reading from Contentful rather than with the volume of content.
