Planio

Planio GmbH is a Berlin software company, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg HRB 130617 B, founded by Jan Schulz-Hofen. Its terms are governed by German law with Berlin as the place of jurisdiction, and §4.4 states that the data centers are located within the Federal Republic of Germany.

The team is small — around eight people, four of them engineers — but several are long-standing Redmine core committers, and the product is hosted Redmine, so the underlying engine does not depend on the company surviving and the data stays portable Redmine data.
