Webnode

Webnode AG has its registered office at Badenerstrasse 47 in Zürich and is the party users contract with; its terms are governed by Swiss law, with consumers keeping the courts of their own country. Day-to-day operations run from Webnode s.r.o. in Brno, Czech Republic, where the company started in 2008.

Its shareholders sold Webnode AG to team.blue, the hosting and online-services group based in Ghent, Belgium, in December 2020; the buyer’s and sellers’ law firms both announced the deal, and Webnode’s own site names team.blue as its parent organisation. team.blue’s largest investor is the London private-equity firm Hg. CPP Investments, the Canadian pension fund, bought about 20% in July 2024, and founders Jonas Dhaenens and Ali Niknam remain cornerstone shareholders.
