Indy
Accounting France
All-in-one accounting and invoicing app for French freelancers. Alternative to QuickBooks.
Details
Indy is the accounting and tax app from Lyon-based Georges.tech SAS, built specifically for French freelancers, micro-entrepreneurs, and professions libérales. It connects to a professional bank account, auto-categorises transactions, generates invoices and quotes, and produces the French tax filings these users owe themselves — URSSAF declarations, the 2035/2031 returns, the liasse fiscale, and VAT — with guided workflows that replace a traditional accountant for simple structures.
Around 100,000 solo professionals use it. As an approved DGFiP “Plateforme Agréée,” Indy is positioned for France’s 2026–2027 e-invoicing mandate. It substitutes for QuickBooks on French-specific filing depth and a freelancer-first workflow, at the cost of breadth — it is France-only and not built for multi-employee or multi-entity companies.
About Indy
Indy is the trade name of Georges.tech SAS, a Lyon-based French software company founded 2016 by Côme Fouques, Valentin Simon, Olivier Cuiller, and Nicolas Vendel. The company rebranded from Georges.tech to Indy in 2022 and registered with the DGFiP as a “Plateforme Agréée” for the upcoming French e-invoicing reform in 2026, allowing it to issue and receive structured invoices on behalf of clients.
Investor cap table is entirely European: BlackFin Capital Partners (FR), iXO Private Equity (Toulouse), La Maison (Paris), Alven (FR), Kerala Ventures (FR), and Singular (FR). The founders remain in operational control. Around 100,000 freelancers, micro-entrepreneurs, and small professional services firms use the product.
