Odoo

Odoo is an open-source business suite published from Belgium since 2002, built as a single data model with separate apps installed on top. The part that maps onto HubSpot is CRM — leads converting to opportunities, pipeline stages, predictive lead scoring, assignment rules and lead mining — alongside Marketing Automation, Email Marketing, and a Website Builder whose blog carries an SEO panel for meta tags, keyword analysis, sitemap, robots.txt, 301 redirects, structured data and hreflang.

One app is free for unlimited users. All apps cost EUR 24.90 per user per month, rising to EUR 44.90 for the plan that unlocks the external API. The app store lists more than 93,000 modules. European customers are hosted in France and Belgium, with EU-only backups from Odoo 19.0. The suite is wider than HubSpot — it also covers accounting, inventory, manufacturing and payroll — but it is an ERP, so it demands real configuration, and Odoo Online caps outbound email at between 5 and 200 messages a day unless the quota is raised or an external SMTP server is connected.

Odoo S.A. is a Belgian société anonyme, enterprise number BE 0477.472.701, with its registered seat at Chaussée de Namur 40, 1367 Grand Rosière. Founder Fabien Pinckaers has been managing director since 2010. The binding Odoo Enterprise Subscription Agreement places the contract under Belgian law with exclusive jurisdiction at the Nivelles business court, and the privacy policy names the Belgian SA as controller.

The named sub-processors are OVH and Google’s EU region for European customers, with AWS used only outside Europe. Odoo Inc. is a sales subsidiary rather than a parent. Summit Partners took a minority stake in 2022 and a 2024 secondary round valued the company above EUR 5 billion; the founder did not sell and states that he retained the majority.
