Apple

Apple Inc. is a US corporation headquartered in Cupertino, California, and listed on Nasdaq. Alongside its hardware it publishes a suite of creative software for macOS, including Logic Pro for music production and Final Cut Pro for video.

Its professional creative applications run only on Apple hardware, which is the practical lock-in for anyone weighing them against a cross-platform alternative: leaving the application and leaving the platform are the same decision.
