Flixier
Video Editing Romania
Browser video editor with cloud rendering and team collaboration. Alternative to CapCut.
Details
Flixier is a browser-based video editor from a Romanian company in Iasi. Its distinguishing choice is where the work happens: rendering runs in the cloud rather than on the machine in front of you, so export speed does not depend on local hardware and a slow laptop is not a constraint.
The editor covers a multitrack timeline, automatic subtitles, stock assets, screen and webcam recording, and real-time collaboration on a shared project.
The free tier is capped rather than trial-limited: 720p output, ten minutes of video export a month, five minutes of subtitles, two gigabytes of storage, and a Flixier watermark the company describes as how it keeps the free plan free. Removing the watermark and reaching 1080p starts at the Starter tier around USD 19 per seat a month, with 4K and unlimited export on Creator.
About Flixier
Flixier SRL is a Romanian company in Iasi, registered since October 2019 with VAT number 41779049 and trade register entry J2019003240229. Its terms name the Romanian entity and state that they are governed by the laws of Romania, with disputes falling to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Romanian courts; Delaware, Inc. and LLC do not appear anywhere in the document.
Filings with the Romanian Ministry of Finance show revenue of 6.24 million lei in 2025, roughly EUR 1.25 million, against 7.30 million in 2024, with headcount rising from four to seven over the same period. The company was profitable in 2023 and 2024 and posted a loss in 2025 while expanding — a funded push rather than distress, though worth watching.
